Doug Reevey - President When Doug joined Autotec in the May of 1997 it was a meeting of two very different worlds. Doug attended Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia and graduated with a degree in business commerce in 1993. From there he went on to work for Ernst & Young in their auditing practice ultimately obtaining his Chartered Accountancy desination in 1996. Looking for a change of scenery after four years in the accounting business he ending up purchasing Autotec Inc in the Fall of 1997 having no automotive experience what so ever. This was a real challenge and great learing experience understanding and reshaping the business from the ground up. In his tenth year with the company and backed by a solid understanding of the business and the industry in which it competes, Doug sees a bright future for Autotec . Living in Rothesay with his wife and two daughters Doug’s other passions include salmon fishing, golf, hockey and gardening.
